Travel Lodge Weymouth

There is not actually at Travel Lodge, Weymouth that one can stay in when visiting this part of England.  In fact, the nearest Travel Lodge to the town of Weymouth is located in Bournemouth, which is nearly 28 miles away.

However, do not prevent you from visiting this coastal town, as there is a good train and bus service that runs from Bournemouth to it.  Once you reach Weymouth, you will be able to enjoy some of the most beautiful and clean beaches to be found in Britain today.  Plus it has throughout the summer months a good team of lifeguards as well as a first aid post, and lost children's centre available and which is why so many families flock to it.

If you are looking for a more traditional kind of beach holiday then Weymouth is the ideal location.  Each summer the beach holds the International Beach Kite Festival and you still have the chance to see a Traditional Punch and Judy show if you want.  Also, the beach at Weymouth is becoming well known for the dozens of sand sculptures that are created on it each summer.

The weather throughout the summer months is usually pretty good, but always be prepared and carry some sort of protection against the occasional shower.  Temperatures compared to those in Spain never really get much above the mid 80's throughout the summer months.  But you should still wear a good quality sunscreen as the breeze of the sea can actually make the temperatures feel lower than they really are.
