Travel Lodge Southend

The hotel that is the Travel Lodge, Southend is located very close to the centre of the city and is only a short distance from Southend Victoria Station.  Plus it also puts you within easy distance of the main shopping area of the city and it is only a few minutes walk and you can be down on the sea front. 

Even though the town is still very much a place where people like to come and spend time relaxing by the sea.  There is plenty more for one to do and see and keep one amused whilst staying in it. 

If you are looking for a great place to have a fun weekend with your mates then why not consider hopping on the train from London Liverpool Street and heading off to Southend on Sea.  Along with its amusement arcades and pleasure park there is a great nightlife here as well.

The city of Southend has several nightclubs but the main ones are Talk Nightclub, Mayhem, Storm Nightclub and Bakers Bar.  All offer you great enjoyment until the early hours of the morning.  The most well known of all of these is Talk Nightclub which was originally known as TOTS and is located down on Southend's seafront, whilst the rest are located closer to the centre of the town.

Another big event that occurs regularly over the summer months especially at the weekends is all the young lads coming down to the seafront to show off their cars.  Regularly they will spend time driving up and down the esplanade showing off their vehicles, but to prevent any problems there is always a strong police presence as well.
