Travel Lodge Kingston
The Travel Lodge Kingston is in fact to be found on Old London
Road, which is in Kingston upon Thames and is only a short distance
by car or train from England's capital. However, rather than
taking a trip in London why not spend some time exploring what this
beautiful town has to offer instead.
Here in Kingston you will discover one of the oldest bridges
that records have been found for. The Clattern Bridge is now
confirmed as an ancient monument, was built around 1293, and
crosses a small tributary of the river known as Hogsmill. In
fact, when you view the bridge from downstream the arches that you
see are in fact the oldest parts of it, and before Victorian times
was only 8 feet wide.
Another place that is worth a visit when in Kingston upon Thames
is Fairfield Park that is located close to its town centre.
As well as giving, the chance to view some of the town's beautiful
architecture there is plenty of activities that one can do.
As well as just a quiet stroll around the park, one is able to play
any kind of sport within reason as well. Plus you may be in
luck and there could be a game of cricket or football taking place
as well for you to watch. But more than anything this park
offers you the chance to be able to relax and enjoy its
surroundings and help the kids to let off steam if they so
wish.
