On a trip to the Emerald Isle, there are various Travel Lodge Ireland, which one can book accommodation at.  There are three located in the Southern Irish Capital of Dublin, one in the Northern Ireland capital of Belfast and a further one located in the City of Londonderry.    But whichever one of the you select to stay in they all offer you affordable but comfortable accommodation during your stay. 

If you are choosing to visit Belfast there are numerous attractions which many tourists are flocking to see since the cessation of troubles in the country.  One of the most popular of these is Belfast Castle.  It is a very familiar landmark in the city and is to be found on Cave Hill.  The original castle was built by the Normans back in the latter part of the 12th Century and used for wedding ceremonies.

However, today along with its visitors centre and antique shop you will find a nice bar and restaurant where you can relax.  Also why not spend sometime actually wandering around Cave Hill and taking in the sights that are laid out before you.

As for the kid's a visit to Belfast Zoo will probably be high on their agenda of things to do.  This again is located on Cave Hill and covers a total of 55 acres with views loving out over Belfast Lough.  It houses more than 160 species of animals many of which are considered endangered or rare.    But as well as all the animals to see there is a playground where the kids can let off a little steam and the restaurant where you can get a quick bite to eat if you want.
