Travel Lodge in Newcastle

The Travel Lodge in Newcastle is located on the Quayside but is still not very far from the centre of this city.  This affordable accommodation makes the ideal location for you when you are intending on visiting the city for just a couple of days.  Once you arrive and get settled in there is plenty for one to do and see during your time in Newcastle.

For those parents who bring their children with them a place that they may want to visit during their stay is Seven Stories.  This centre allows children to access some great pieces of artwork and literature by authors and illustrators who creations are aimed specifically at them.   Whilst here the children were, learn everything that goes into the making of child's book and they even get to have a go a painting and drawing for themselves.

Another great place to take the kids during a visit to this city is Gibside, which is located in a small town called Burnopfield that is a short distance away.  Here you and the family can take pleasure strolling around this 18th Century house's landscaped gardens, which was home to the Queen Mother as a child.

Then why not take a stroll through the wooden areas and look for the varied wildlife that has taken up residence in them.  Along with all that, fresh air and beautiful countryside there are plenty of activities to keep the kids amused as well.  Plus after all that exercise you would be looking forward to something to eat and drink, so why not stop and enjoy lunch or a light snack in the Gibside's Georgian Tearoom.
