There are two Travel Lodge in Liverpool; one is located close to the town centre in Old Haymarket.  Whilst the second one is actually located at the docks in Liverpool.  But are ideal for those who are looking for affordable accommodation whilst visiting this city.

It is important to remember that in 2008 Liverpool is the Capital Culture of Europe, so throughout this year a large number of events will be taking place to celebrate this.  But along with all the events taking place throughout 2008 there are plenty of other things to do and see as well.

Of all the attractions that one can visit during your time in Liverpool the most popular of these is "The Beatles Story".  It is located in a Grade I listed building situated at Albert Docks in the city and has the largest collection of memorabilia and artefacts that relate to the world-renowned group who first became big back in the 1960's.   In fact, everywhere that you go in Liverpool you will see things that relate to this super group along with many other bands that made it big at the time and originated from Liverpool as well.

If you would like to try something a little different during your visit to Liverpool then book yourself a ride on the Yellow Duck Marine.  This authentic vehicle from World War II will take you on enjoyable cruise around the city's famous waterfront allowing you a completely different view of some of the city's well-known sites.   The total cruise time is about 1 hour long but is well worth the time to be included in your visit.
