Travel Lodge Gatwick

The Travel Lodge, Gatwick is the ideal base for those who are flying out from the airport located here to much sunnier climes.  Especially for those who want to save themselves money which can then be used to much better purposes whilst away on holiday.

Although you will find that this hotel is known as the Gatwick Airport Hotel, it is actually situated on the outskirts of Crawley town.  However, if you are looking for cheap affordable accommodation whilst visiting some of the attractions close by this is a good alternative to think about using.

Within easy travelling distance of this hotel, you will find Gatwick Zoo, Epsom Racecourse, Thorpe Park and Chessington World of Adventures.  But even the town of Crawley has attractions that you may find of interest as well.

One such attraction is the Crawley Museum Centre that is found housed in one of the annexes of an old mansion.  This building you will find is situated in Goffs Park so along with the museum you can enjoy what the park has to offer to visitors as well.  Along with its lakes and boating pond, there are areas for the children to play in, a paddling pool and a pitch and putt course.

When you enter the museum here, you will find a collection of various artefacts that clearly illustrate the history of this town.  Not only does it look at the time when the town was first settled during the Bronze Age but takes a closer look at the town as it is today.
