Travel Lodge France

Unfortunately, the chances of a chain of Travel Lodge, France being established is very small.  This is because there are all ready a vast array of budget hotels that have been set up in this country. 

Currently in France, there are more than 10 hotel groups who offer budget hotel in France.  The main ones of these being Formule 1, Mister Bed, Fasthotel, ETAP and Noctuel.  The costs of rooms are between £19 and £30 for a nights stay.  However, unlike Travel Lodge some of these do not provide facilities that would be considered normal for example, you may find that your room does not have en-suite facilities and most do not come with air conditioning.

Certainly, in the next few years the Travel Lodge group instead are going to be aiming to have a chain of their budget hotels built in countries such as Spain as well as in Eastern Europe. 

In fact, Spain seems a much more obvious choice for them to start with as they already have three hotels, which they own in Madrid.  Plus currently other than Ibis, there is no other hotel chain offering budget priced accommodation to visitors to this country. 

If Travel Lodge do wish to set up a chain of budget hotels in Spain then they will be looking to target the countries more popular cities.  So this will mean that they will aiming to have hotels in cities such as Barcelona, Valencia, Seville and of course Madrid.
