Travel Lodge Croydon

The Travel Lodge, Croydon is situated on the A212 and is to be found not far from the town's main center.   Although there may be not much for you and your family to do in Croydon itself there are plenty of places which can easily be reached by car, which will provide a fun day out for all. 

Certainly, the places that one is likely to visit if you choose to stay in Croydon are Chessington World of Adventures, which is only 13 miles from the town.  Otherwise, if you are willing to travel a little further there is Thorpe Park, Legoland or Windsor Castle that one can visit instead. 

However, in Croydon itself one place that many visitors to the town will go to is Dr John Fry's House.  This is actually located on the edge of Croydon and even today, the house is used as a general practice surgery.  Through various researches that Dr Fry carried out during the 1960's and 1970's he was able to bring us many of the modern medical practices in the UK that the people living here take for granted. 

But the place where all the children will want to go is Chessington World of Adventures that is about a 20-minute drive away from Croydon Travel Lodge.  Along with the theme park there is also a zoo which one is able to wander around whilst there.  The zoo allows you to get close to such animals as lions, tigers and gorillas, but also otters, monkeys, goats and pigs.
