Travel Lodge Crewe

The Travel Lodge, Crewe is not located too far from the center of this town, however it is located close to a public house so noise levels over the weekend could increase.  However, like all Travel Lodge's across the UK these are affordable to stay at and offer the ideal base for when you are visiting a place for a few days. 

Although Crewe itself does not offer, much in the way of attractions not far away is the town of Nantwich.  Here you will find a museum and also the Hack Green Secret Nuclear Bunker. 

The museum in Nantwich contains lots of interesting information with regards to the history of this town.  Here you can travel through time learning about Nantwich from the times when the Roman's settled here to the battle that took place during the time of the English Civil War.  Also, whilst visiting the museum you will learn everything with regard to Nantwich during Tudor times.

The other main attraction that Nantwich offers to visitors is the Hack Green Secret Nuclear Bunker (which is not a secret any more).  Here you and your family can see and feel what it would have been like to spend time in its rooms.  After entering through the large blast doors at the entrance to the bunker, you will enter a completely secret world that cost over £32 million to build.  Along with spending time exploring the bunkers headquarters there are also activities to keep the children amused such as "The Secret Spy Mouse Trail".
