Travel Lodge Cheltenham

The Travel Lodge, Cheltenham is located two and a half miles from the center of the town.  But provides you with an affordable base from which to explore what the town and the surrounding area has to offer.  Also, a further 4 miles away from where you are staying is the ancient town of Gloucester.

If you have brought your children with you then a visit to Cotswold Farm Park in Guiting Power is a must.  The farm was the first rare breeds farm which allowed the public to visit it and was established back in 1971.  Not only can you learn about everything there is to know about British farm animal breeds, but also there are plenty of other things to do and keep the children amused.

If they want, they can spend time in pet's corner or watch some of the demonstrations that take place on the farm.  However, if you want them to expend a little more energy then let the loose in the farm's adventure playground or the soft play area (depending on their ages).  Also why take a gentle stroll with them around the farm's nature trail and then when you get back sample some of the food that their on site restaurant has to offer.

As well as the rare breeds farm we have mentioned above there are plenty of other things one can do and see during a visit to Cheltenham.  There is the Italianate Cambray Baptist Church located in the town where Charles Haddon used to preach before he moved to London.
